Friday 21 November 2025 Antarctica poetry What a cold week! Even though it was a chilly one, it fit in perfectly with our English lessons. We wrote list poems all about Antarctica. The children watched videos to think about what they could see and hear, before they explored ice to see what it could feel like. As a class, we made a word bank for how we could describe Antarctica and looked at the features, before we had a go at writing our list poems. On Friday, we shared our poems, and some were even brave enough to read them aloud to the class!!
