School Meals
All infant‑aged children are entitled to a free school meal. We encourage children to enjoy our freshly cooked hot meals, which are prepared on site each day. Alternatively, they may bring a healthy packed lunch from home.We are a Nut Free school. Bread and fruit are available daily, and we cater for pupils with dietary needs and allergies. All menus clearly display allergens, and our kitchen staff are fully trained in food safety. The school was awarded a 5‑Star Food Hygiene Rating in our most recent council inspection (2024). If your child has any special dietary requirements, please contact the school office.
School Meals Ordering System
Dinner choices are on a termly menu. You can view our menu on the school website and they are also included in our weekly newsletter.
Parents and carers are asked to log in to their Arbor account to select their child’s meal choice each day.
Meal options include:
- One of the two hot meal choices, or
- A packed lunch (if your child is bringing food from home)
Bookings can be made daily by 8:30 am or in advance on a weekly basis, whichever is most convenient for you. Please note that even if your child is bringing a packed lunch from home, this must still be recorded through the app.
School Milk
Every child at Westbury Infant School is offered a cup of milk each morning. If your child does not like milk or has an allergy, water or an appropriate milk substitute will be provided. This is a free service offered in partnership with Cool Milk.
Every morning during registration, children are offered half a slice of wholemeal toast with dairy‑free butter but can refuse if they are not hungry. Gluten‑free toast is also available.
Fruit & Veg SchemeThe school takes part in the Government’s Free Fruit and Veg Scheme. Each child receives a free piece of fruit or vegetables at milk time each day.
DrinksWe operate a no drinks from home policy, so water bottles, juice cartons and fruit shoots should not be brought into school. Fresh drinking water is available in every classroom, and children are encouraged to drink regularly throughout the day.
Lunch Menu Term 5 (Apr-May 2026)

School Meals Update for Term 6
From Term 6, Monday 1st June we are welcoming Edwards and Ward as our new lunch provider. Our fabulous catering team will still be the familiar faces preparing and serving the lunches, but there will be changes to the menu; option availability; and special diet provision. Please find their welcome letter attached along with important information for any pupils with allergies/intolerances or that require a special diet.

If your child requires a special diet due to a diagnosed allergy, intolerance, or medical condition, you must register with Edwards and Ward. This applies even if you have already given this information to the school as your details cannot be shared automatically. Click here to register your child.
Please note that if your child has medical dietary requirements and is not registered, Edwards and Ward may not be able to provide them with a school lunch.
