School Meals 

All children at Westbury Infant School are entitled to a school meal free of charge. Menus are on a rotation and may be subject to change. Weekly menu is included in the newsletter. Paper copies are also available in reception. We encourage parents to provide a healthy lunchbox if that is what your child prefers to eat.  See below for an example of a healthy lunchbox.

Are you receiving any of the following benefits?

• Income Support
• Income Based Jobseekers Allowance (NOT contributed based JSA)
• Income-related Employment Support Allowance ((NOT contribution based ESA)

• support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 - National Asylum

  Seekers Support (NASS)
• the guarantee element of State Pension Credit
• Child Tax Credit (you must NOT be entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual income (as assessed by HM Revenue & Customs) that does not exceed £16,190 (April 2012)
• Working Tax Credit 'run-on' - the payment you receive for a further four weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
• Universal Credit (provided you have an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400, as assessed by earnings from up to three of your most recent assessment periods)

If you are, your school could receive £1,320.00 in pupil premium money. For the school to claim this money you need to complete a form, to download a form press the pupil premium application button below or pop into school and collect one from the school office.

At Westbury Infant School we:

• serve a daily starter: self-service salad with a wide variety of seasonal vegetables.
• choose either a meat or vegetarian main meal.
• choose a daily choice of a pudding and/or fresh fruit.
• prepare and cook all meals in our onsite kitchen.
• source our meat locally, within 50 miles of our school.
• serve fresh drinking water on each table.
• serve gravy and sauces which are optional.
