Friday 23 January 2026 23rd January 2026 This week we had an assembly explaining about the history of our school badge, enjoyed the story of Handa's Surprise, played a glockenspiel, compared mass, had another Far Away Friday and also managed to get outside.

Friday 16 January 2026 16th January 2026 Another busy week in which CCTV caught some Gingerbread people running through our classroom. The children set about making some traps to catch them and I think this must have scared them off, so we made our own and gobbled them up! Many of the children in Koala class are now learning the 'special friends' sh, th, ch, ng, nk, qu and ck. Please continue to use the sound card pack at home to be able to state all the Set 1 sounds at high speed.

Friday 9 January 2026 9th January 2026 Happy New Year! We do hope you had a fabulous holiday and had a chance to get a little rest. The children have slotted back in to the routines of school and have started 'Drawing Club', this week based around the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. They have also started new Read, Write, Inc groups. Please come and see me if you have any queries about these.

Friday 9 January 2026 Welcome back Wallabies! It has been an incredible start back to school after a lovely long Christmas break.
