Extreme Weather
Image created using AI by Westbury Infant School
In the event of snow, ice, severe weather or a heatwave/extreme hot weather, Westbury Infant School may need to close the school site if it is unsafe or unsuitable to open as normal. If this happens, remote learning will be provided.
How will parents and carers be informed?
If the school needs to close, we will notify parents and carers by email and share updates on our school Facebook page.
Please also listen to Heart Radio on 97.2 or 102.2 FM or visit the Heart School Closures – Wiltshire website for updates.
Please keep an eye out for these updates.
Remote Learning
If the school site is unsafe or unsuitable to open, remote learning will be available through the Remote Learning section of our school website.
Learning activities will be uploaded to the relevant year group page by 9am on the first day of closure and by 9am on each subsequent day that the school remains closed.
