Zebras 22.11.24

The Zebras have had a wonderful day exploring the SS Great Britain today. It was amazing the see the boat we have been learning about so much in class for real life. We were amazed how big it was and got to look really carefully at the iron hull and propellor. We imagined having a job on board and what it would have been like. The sounds and strange smells helped us with that! As a bonus we even saw the Clifton Suspension Bridge on the way home!

It also made us think about Brunel and how clever he was to design such a boat when no one else had.

The children are really enjoying this topic and have already learnt so much. Hopefully they can answer all your questions about it over the weekend!
