Zebras 20.06.25

This week the Zebras were lucky to go on their school trip to Lacock. They had a wonderful time walking around the village and looking at the houses thinking about what they were made of. We made lots of similarities to the houses that would have been around during the Fire of London and it was interesting to see how some over hung the streets below. The children also visited the Abbey and some recognised areas used in the film Harry Potter. The visit was finished with some physical exercise in the park where the children worked together, persevered and supported each other to complete a challenging obstacle course.

We have also continued our work on materials and have been experimenting with materials. We have tested which materials are waterproof and which materials are absorbent. We are really enjoying asking questions and finding out the answers.

Please continue to read with your child at home and have a lovely weekend.
