Zebra 6.6.25

Welcome back everyone! We hope you had a lovely bread and are ready for our last term of learning in Zebras, I cant believe how quick this year is going!

This week we have started our new topic in science learning about materials. The children enjoyed going on a material hunt around the school and looking at all the different object made of a variety of materials. Have a look at our photos and see if you can identify the material each object is made from. We then sorted some of these objects and discovered lots of objects are made of more than 1 material.

In Maths we have started to think about time, we first discussed what seconds, minutes and hours were and how we could relate different activities to these moment in time. Many children must be super quick walkers as they thought they could walk to school in seconds. Maybe you could time yourselves and let us know. It would be interesting to see.

We then started telling the time making O'clock and half past with the clocks. We are continuing to practise this next week.
