Wild Place Project

I'm hoping that by the time you are reading this you will have heard about the most wonderful day we had. The Wild Place Project was AMAZING! This trip linked with our current Science topic looking at habitats and after Easter we move on to comparing a non-European country so will be studying Kenya.

The children managed to see every animal they had there, apparently it was the perfect day for us to go as the temperature was just right for them all to come out to play. I don't want to write too much as I'll let the photos do the talking. The children aren't in many as we were too excited to have the memories of the animals. I'm not going loopy as in one picture you have to look closely to see someone hiding in a tree!

Everybody had their favourite but I think mine just had to be the giraffes. 

Next week Mrs Russam is in class Monday - Thursday and Mrs Ibbeken on Friday. We are walking to church on Friday afternoon, all Year 2 parents are most welcome to attend.
