What a trip!

What a soggy week we have had! The rain has not stopped the learning in Giraffe Class.

We started the week by finishing off out work on Augusta Savage. The children have all made their own clay sculpture and remembered the different techniques they have been practising to add all the different features.

Wednesday was the most fantastic trip to The Holburne Museum in Bath. The children experienced walking around the gallery and how expensive some of the paintings were. The tiger was beautiful. Then we had a fantastic time completing the sculpture workshop. Once we had finished we were able to explore Sydney Gardens. The highlight being seeing the trains and the lovely drivers giving us a wave and a toot on the horn!
