Super Scientists!

We have had another busy week in Zebra Class, continuing our topic on 'animals including humans'. We have classified different animals, looking at their common features and have thought about why they belong to different groups (fish, birds, reptiles, amphibians, mammals, amphibians). We looked at whether animals are carnivores, herbivores or omnivores and also thought about what we like to eat as humans! We then became investigators had a series of clues to decipher to help us work out which animals had been inside and outside of our classroom

In Maths this week, we have been continuing our work on addition and writing fact families. We have used different concrete resources to help us understand this practically and we have been working hard to use our number rhymes to form our numbers correctly.

In English, we have continued reading the story, Monkey Puzzle and have used our creative skills to retell the story.

Our ball skills are improving each week during our outdoor PE sessions, we have been looking at dribbling, catching and working as a team.

We are looking for parents to help us walk to church for the harvest service on Monday 21st October. Please let Mrs Rockey know if you are able to help.
