Panda Class Guess Who?
It's been another busy week in Panda Class with more fabulous learning from all the children. We hope that you enjoyed seeing the work that the children have been doing in their books this term when you came along to parents evening this week. We certainly enjoyed seeing you all and talking to you about how your children have settled in to Panda Class since September.
Please do remember that there is the RWI blog where you can find links to what the children have been learning in their phonics lessons and that you can log in to Oxford Owl to find a new book and quiz updated each week as another great way to continue the fabulous reading that you're doing at home.
In English this week, we have been enjoying a new book - another Julia Donaldson classic - Superworm. The children have enjoyed listening and joining in with the story, as well as acting it out. They have worked hard to identify rhyming words, learn about similes and then describe one of the characters.
We have continued our Science Topic this week, learning about the human body and our senses. The children enjoyed labelling different parts of our bodies - have a look at all of the stickers they managed to use!
In Computing this term we have been learning about what it means to be online and focusing particularly on staying safe online. This week we had fun generating strong passwords and then creating avatars of ourselves... have a look at what we created - can you guess who is who?

It's been such a lovely and busy first term, and we look forward to finishing off the term next week, with another busy 3 days.
Please join us if you can on Monday for our Harvest Service at the church. We will leave school straight after lunch for a 2pm start at the church.
On Wednesday afternoon, we have our Parent event at 2.30pm. The children are looking forward to having you join them in class!
Have a lovely weekend.
