Likes and dislikes

This week we have been reading a book called 'can i build another me?' we have been thinking about things we like and dislike. We had a really fun lesson exploring different things and deciding if we liked or disliked them. We felt beans, pasta, pine cones, wet spaghetti and playdoh. We smelt vinegar, marmite and mustard, we stood carefully on lego and discussed weather we liked or disliked these things and used descriptive language to describe why.

We listened carefully to each other and tried to talk in full sentences.

The children have also been learning to identify numbers 1 more and 1 less on the number line and create our own number lines putting the numbers in the correct places.

In our Art unit we have stared experimenting with clay and using different techniques to shape it.
