It's only Tuesday!

I know it is only Tuesday, however I felt the need to blog after a busy few days and to put your mind at rest about some of the stories you might have been told about certain activities going on at school this afternoon!

On Monday, al of the Year 2 children went to Matravers to take part in the ABC challenge. The children had a GREAT time and really listened well to the young leaders. The children were a credit to the school and they listened and performed brilliantly to what they were being asked to do. Apologies some of the pictures are a bit blurry but the children were moving so quickly!

As part of our maths we have looked at equivalent fractions through bar models. We looked at how 1/2 is the same as 2/4. 

Then total excitement hit! For Science we looked at what animals eat and classifying them according to what they eat (carnivore, herbivore and omnivore). The children had to become detectives and look at different types of poo (coloured playdough!) and decide where to classify the animals. It was great fun!

Have a super Easter holiday and it will be great to see everyone back on Monday 17th April.
