Happy holidays Zebra Class!
Wow! It is hard to believe that this is the very last blog of the year and we have come to the end of our time in Zebra Class. What an absolutely amazing year we have had together, with so much growth in so many different ways. Mrs Channon, Miss McVeigh and I have loved watching you blossom and make wonderful progress.
Today we had a fantastic Water Fight which all the children really enjoyed. It was a perfect way to cool down on a very hot Friday. The children particularly enjoyed completely soaking Mrs Channon I have heard!
This week, the children have enjoyed looking at and making their own leaflets about The Haynes Motor Museum. We looked at the different features of leaflets and tried to include these within our own work (e.g. bright colours, bold titles, headings, snappy information). In maths, we have been problem solving. We used cubes to represent numbers and this helped us consider whether they could make make sticks, squares or rectangles. We found out that 1,4 9 , 16 and 25 are definitely square numbers! The children enjoyed figuring our patterns and making their own predictions.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful summer holiday.
