What a busy week we have had in Bumblebee class!

We have started our new science topic this week; sorting and classifying different vertebrates into mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and birds.  The children were very good and looking for similar features to help them classify a wide variety of animals.

This linked really well with our new English story 'Monkey Puzzle.'  We looked at the different animals in the story and used adjectives to describe them.  Then we started to make our own lift the flap books which we will finish next week.

In maths, we have been busy using different manipulatives to help us find number bonds to 10.  We have also been using part whole models to add to numbers together to find the whole.
