This week in Bumblebee Class we have been busy making music, using drama to act out scenes from the story book that we have been reading and developing our ball skills in PE.  

For our computing work this term we are learning how to use a computer to create our own music.  We started the session this week by making music with real instruments and working in pairs to create a rhythm.  Then we used the Ipads to explore how we can create different rhythms using different sounds and instruments.  We then discussed which method for making music we preferred and were encouraged to give reasons for our choices.

In English this week, we have been playing the part of Jamina and acting out different scenes from the story.  We then used this to help us plan and write a recount of the story.  The teachers were very proud of how well we could recall the story and how hard we are working on our writing skills.

In PE this week, we have had fun practising our ball skills.  We pretended that we were in a circus and were showing off the different tricks that we can do with a ball.  Some of the things we tried were really tricky but we demonstrated our resilience and kept on trying.
