Fantastic Swimmers!

What a brilliant first week back we have had in the Panda Class.  We had our first swimming lesson on Tuesday and I was so proud of all of them. Lots of fantastic swimming and following instructions really carefully.  Well done Panda Class.

As we are swimming this term on a Tuesday, our PE lesson which is usually on this day will be cancelled and instead moved to a Wednesday afternoon.  Therefore the children only need to come to school on a Wednesday dressed in their PE clothes please.

In Maths this week, we have been learning about length, making sure we learn the correct vocabulary which is shorter, longer and taller than.  The children have been introduced to a meter ruler and had to find objects in the classroom longer than and shorter than this.

We have also started our new art topic which is all about the artist Henry Rousseau.  See if your child can tell you anything about him.
