Busy, busy, busy

What a busy week we have had! The children have been working really hard ordering numbers and making number lines thinking about which number comes after or before another. We have made numbers with chalk, on our tables and with number cards on the carpet.

We have also continued to learn about animals in science and have been classifying them based on what they eat. We examined poo samples (made of playdoh) to see what we could see in them to decide if the animal was a carnivore, herbivore or omnivore. The children loved looking at the poo closely to see what they could find and then we talked about the differences together as a group.

From next week we are very excited to welcome 2 PGSC students to come and work with us. They will be here every day except Fridays until February and will be supporting the children during lessons. Their names are Miss Bradley and Miss Trim.

We hope you all have a wonderful weekend and look forward to more fabulous learning next week.
