Superstars!

What a super week we have had in Honeybees this week!

We have had a busy week consolidating what we have learnt this term. We have taken the children 1:1 to see what they can remember in their phonics learning, recapped numbers to 20 and addition within 20 and continued to work hard with writing their first names and numbers to 9. The children have worked really hard and shown us that they are becoming more confident in all these areas.

I think a main highlight was seeing some of our parents come in to celebrate their children's learning on Wednesday. The children enjoyed being truly immersed in the story, 'Whatever Next,' by Jill Murphy. They enjoyed pretending they were going up into space with teddy, felt the rain and the clouds, saw the stars and even had a picnic on the moon! The children's engagement was fantastic! They then finished off by making their very own sparkly rocket to take home. Thank you to the parents that came and supported, it was so lovely to have you join us.

We look forward to seeing you on Monday 19th February after our half term break. I hope you all have a fabulous half term. The children will need to wear a PE kit on a Thursday please.

Uniform spares: I know we often have to change the children during the day. Please could we ask that if you have any spare clothes that may have come from school that these be returned to school we are running a little low. Thank you.
