Lots of Sewing in Panda Class!
It’s been a fantastic week in Panda class with lots going on! In Design, the children have had great fun learning to sew. They have been busy bees practicing their running stitch and all did so well. The children all followed their plans very carefully to decorate their puppets.
In English, the children have been writing non-chronological reports about the Big Five. They all did so well and know so many wonderful facts about these important animals. Panda’s have used conjunctions, subheadings, pictures and wonderful describing words in their reports and we are so proud of what they have achieved!
In Maths, we have introduced our new topic Time. The year 1 children have been thinking about sequencing days of the week and months of the year. The year 2 children have learnt o’clock, half-past, quarter past and quarter two.
Next Wednesday afternoon we have our Sports Day. Please come and cheer your children if you can in all their activities. All information has been emailed to you.
Don’t forget:
Next week, we did the children wearing PE kits on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday please.
Next school trip letters have been emailed out to parents.
Have a lovely weekend and see you next week for our last week in Term 5!
