Fruit Salad!
The ‘gemometer’ in Giraffe class is close to exploding with the great work that has been happening this week. The writing has been amazing and so has all the fantastic number work.
The children have written the most fantastic non-chronological reports about visiting London and all the things you can see and do there. They added amazing detail and thought about some great facts.
In maths we have been looking at grouping objects and making sure that they are equal. This helps us to move on to our multiplication and division as well as looking at odd and even numbers.
For our DT we have been carrying on with our cooking skills. We have had to design and make a fruit salad using our skills to chop, grate and slice lots of different fruits. Then we had the opportunity to eat everything. It was delicious!
Next week is our last swimming lesson. PE then returns to a Wednesday. There is a Maths workshop being run by Mrs Channon on Thursday at 2.00 to talk about lots of different maths games that can support learning at home. This then leads on to our parent event at 2.30 and takes
us into the end of term.
