Throughout the week we have looked at different fruit and vegetables, where they grow and what they look like. We have also discussed how some plants can be very harmful to us and animals. The children also enjoyed watching some 'farm to fork' videos to see how vegetables end up in our supermarket.

 These are a couple of the books we have looked at this week. The children have also enjoyed 'Oliver's Vegetables' and in maths, 'The Doorbell Rang', which we used when learning about sharing.

The children have recently been assessed again in Read, Write, Inc. New groups will be allocated soon. In the meantime please use the old groups when looking at the Read, Write, Inc blog.
