This week we have looked at a couple of stories based on trains. We have talked about how Westbury has a train station and the children have shared stories about where they have travelled. Our writing task this week was based on 'Lola and the Farm'. This story is about a girl who travels by train from the city to the countryside to visit her gran who has moved to a farm. The children wrote about the different views Lola had from her train window. The confidence that the children show when writing, continues to increase, with many happily writing their own sentences.

This week we also had our class photo taken. These will be available to purchase in the coming weeks. We request that you do not share the photo on social media. Many thanks.
