Welcome to Panda Class!

What a wonderful first week we have had in Panda Class getting to know each other and learning lots of new routines.  We have all worked really hard to help each other feel happy and relaxed in our new classroom environment and it has been lots of fun  working as a new team and building important relationships with each other.  Our main focus this week has been getting to know where things are in our classroom, learning the class room expectations for behaviour, moving between classrooms for maths mastery and RWI, and learning that we can have lots of fun by sharing and working as part of team.  We have been so proud of how well the children have come into school in the morning with very few tears and lots of smiling faces. 

The children will bring home a reading book at the end of next week but please continue to read lots of books together until then and  enjoy sharing the library book that they chose today.  Our library day is every Thursday where the children are able to select a book of their choice and swap it  weekly,  if they return the one they have borrowed.
