Week 4 Friday 26th September
What a wonderful week we have had in Wallaby class and with the added glorious sunshine, the children have been enjoying the outside area. Even though it has bene sunny, the temperatures are starting to drop. Please make sure your child has their coat in school as we will go outside in all weather.
This week, we have been enjoying ‘Squiggle whilst you wiggle’ and making large circular movements. In Maths this week, the children have been looking at rules for the way objects have been sorted. We have also looked at ‘more than’ and ‘fewer than’ and compared different amounts using balance bears and unifix.
In topic, we have been thinking about our families. The children have all made houses out of lolly pop sticks and drawn their families inside. It’s been so lovely listening to the children talk about their families and pets. We have also talked about what makes us special as well as our Favourite Colours. In Music, the children have learnt an alternative version to ‘Incy Wincy Spider’.
Next week:
PE days are Tuesday and Thursday. Please come in wearing PE kits on these days.
