Investigating Plants!

The sun is shining and we are having the most super time enjoying the Trim Trail to burn off some of our energy.

We have continued our great English work writing formal letters to Mrs Budge about the litter around the school. We had to be very bossy and use some very grumpy words!

Maths has been fantastic as we have carried on measuring objects using rulers, cubes and lots of different objects.

We have begun a new Science topic looking at plants and trees. We have investigated our school grounds to see what we can find growing there. We have looked at the structure of the plants and had a go at drawing them. You might have seen some bags hanging on our windows, these are bean seeds and we are looking at what happens when they germinate. 

Next week we will be visiting Warminster Park on Tuesday. Children need to wear school jumpers, sensible trousers and very comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking! A small backpack will be needed to carry lunch.
