A busy term ahead!

What a lovely start to the term. The children have come back refreshed and full of chocolate!

We have started our term looking at different poems and we had to use our senses to think about what the sand, water and mud felt like. Then we had to think of different adjectives to describe it before writing our poems.

In Maths we have started thinking about money and how much the different coins and notes are worth. We identified and sorted them, made totals and turned them into money men.

It was a little chilly when we went out for PE this week, we have been looking at our throwing at catching. We incorporated lots of multi skills into our activities to help us practise.

It was sponsored silence this week, some of us found it a little tricky but we managed it! There were certain times of the day when the classroom was very quiet!

As part of our Geography topic we will be going for a walk around Westbury on Wednesday 14th May. If you are able to accompany us, please let me know.

Have a fantastic weekend.
