Please can you ensure that your child is suitably dressed for all kinds of weather and P.E. It would be very helpful to provide some wellies if you haven't done so already. We do have some spare wellies - please let me know if you would like some.

Please would you also check that your child hasn't taken home any jumpers that do not belong to them! If you haven't named your child's clothes, please do so. It makes finding lost items so much easier. Thank you.

The children have now been split into different Read, Write, Inc groups. The class are doing exceptionally well learning the Set 1 sounds. The next step for all is to now recite these sounds at speed, one per second! It would also be helpful to continue practising 'Fred Talk'. The children will also start to use 'Fred Fingers' when spelling words. Some children will start to bring home some blending books. These get changed every Friday. Please keep these in their reading folders and take good care of them. If you have any questions, please do come and ask.

We have also reflected on Remembrance Day, talking about the poppies people wear. The children had many questions and watched a short animation from CBeebies.
