Powder Paint!

We are learning about Georgia O'Keefe in art. She was a famous artist who loved nature and liked to paint flowers in bold, bright colours. 

She used to focus on a small part of the plant and magnify it and paint it much bigger. She wanted people to notice what she did when she looked carefully at flowers. 

We learnt how to mix powder paints. We said "dip, dab, dip, swoosh" to remind us how to correctly make the paints. We made primary colours and mixed them to make secondary colours.
