Super Scientists

This week the children have enjoyed using their investigative skills to find out what material is the best to make a car tyre from.  First they made a hypothesis and predicted which material they thought would be best.  They also thought about the need to make the test fair and decided that they would need to rub each piece of material 10 times and use the same force to keep it fair.  Finally after the test they looked at their results and tried to use them to say if their prediction was correct or not.

Amazing adding and subtracting 10s

This week the children have been working hard to start adding and subtracting 10s and starting to look at column addition.  The first stage is to work practically to add or subtract the 10s and then try and record pictorially.  Great effort Beetles. Well done.
