Friday 5th November - Fabulous first week back

Millipedes have had a fabulous first week back. They have had a busy week, on Tuesday they did their class Assembly in front of the whole school. We performed the story 'We are going on a Bear Hunt'. It was lovely to see everybody else joining in with our story too.

We have revisited sounds 'm', 'a', 's', 'd' and 't' in our RWI lessons. We have also been talking lots about what we did over the half term holidays. Millipedes have been drawing pictures and have done some amazing writing about their holidays too!

We have also learnt about Diwali and have created our own Rangoli patterns. We created one as a class using rice, it is now hung on our wall for us to enjoy looking at, we also did individual Rangoli patterns too using cotton wool.

This term our PE focus is on dance. We have been focusing on floor shapes and standing shapes. We have shown our wonderful imagination with the shapes we have been making. Well done Millipedes, another wonderful week.

Sorry there are not many pictures we have been so busy!
