Friday 26th November

This week our reception children have been getting messy with shaving foam and slimy spaghetti.  They have used different materials to draw with and have made spaghetti faces.  They have also been busy learning their numbers to 5; recognising, counting, ordering and making numbers to 5 in different ways.

Our Year Ones have been busy this week continuing to learn about the Great Fire of London.  They have retold the key events of 1666 and have made some lovely lanterns using tissue paper, glass jars and tea lights.  They have also been busy using the language of more and less to compare two different groups of objects.

Our Year Twos have been learning about weather around the world and have started to make some balloon globes to help them identify places that are warm and places that are cold.  In Maths, they have been busy learning about money; recognising different coins and notes, finding totals and working out change.
