Friday 1st October Kandinsky Colour Mixing

This week we have started learning about Wassily Kandinsky. The children have enjoyed looking at his different paintings. We love how colourful and clear the paintings are.

We have been having a go at mixing primary colours to make secondary colours. The children worked really carefully with the powder paint to make their colours and then have a practice making Kandinsky style pictures. 

Next week we are using the skills we have been learning to create Kandinsky trees. We cannot wait to display them in our classroom.
